Dr. Peter Foros
Petros E. Foros was born and raised in Athens, but his family originates from the island of Chios, Greece, known for its production of Mastiha.
He received a scholarship to attend Costeas-Geitonas High School. He later pursued his higher education at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he graduated with a “Very Good” grade after a 5-year study period in the Dental Medicine department.
Following his studies, he served as a dental surgeon in the Hellenic Armed Forces.
In 2019, he completed a fellowship course at Aarhus University in Denmark, Department of Dentistry & Oral Health – Section for Oral Ecology under the guidance of the world-renowned Professor Bente Nyvad.
Dr. Foros is currently a freelance researcher at the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, where he is engaged in Medicine and Dentistry. He has made presentations on 7 scientific projects at numerous global conferences and has published 3 papers in international peer-reviewed journals.
Notably, his published work has been cited in over 100 scientific studies from universities such as the University of Bern in Switzerland, the University of Michigan in the USA, and King’s College London.
Furthermore, Dr. Foros is an active member of the European Association for Osseointegration, a leading scientific organization focused on dental implants in Europe.
In addition to his scientific pursuits, Dr. Foros maintains an active clinical practice, providing holistic treatment to patients. He is dedicated to discovering the root causes of their illnesses and helping them regain their health with a focus on overall wellness and a confident smile. Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Foros is a devoted husband and father of two boys, and he cherishes spending his leisure time with his family.
